Building on the one year part-time Post Graduate Certificate in Cross-sector Partnership (PCCP) (now completing its third successful year) the Partnering Initiative is developing a number of other learning opportunities that either deepen understanding of specific aspects of cross-sector partnering or build knowledge of partnering for those not yet familiar with the paradigm.
Short courses and learning events under development include both highly specific topics for partnership specialists as well as introductory, awareness-raising programmes for policy-makers from all sectors.
The Initiative is willing to consider developing tailored courses and skills training for organisations or companies interested in particular areas or specialised aspects of partnering. Examples of these kinds of courses can be found under Commissioned Work on this website. To explore tailored opportunities for training please contact: info@thepartneringinitiative.org.
The Initiative is also building a number of key linkages to other academic institutions. These explore a range of ways of working together to raise standards, knowledge, strategic thinking and awareness for partnership approaches to sustainable development. Discussions are currently underway with academic institutions in Australia, South Africa, USA and with the Open University in the UK.
