
Plan UK job vacancy: Head of Major Partnerships

Plan UK is currently recruiting for a Head of Major Partnerships whose role will be to provide strategic leadership for the Major Partnerships Unit and determine Plan UK’s major partnerships strategy, ensuring alignment with the Programme Strategy, resources and impact are maximised, and short and long-term fundraising targets are met.
They will determine and drive the new business strategy, including leading on pitches and approaches for major grants and managing interdisciplinary bid teams. Activities include leading and managing 3 functions within the major partnerships unit and providing leadership to managers in the budgeting and planning process, identifying overall priorities and ensuring these are integrated with wider organisational strategies.
Plan UK are looking for someone with at least 7 years of creating and managing partnerships and will have experience of raising funds in the UK from major donors/corporates/trusts/foundations. They will have the ability to lead and manage staff, analyse and solve complex problems requiring significant levels of judgement and assessment of information and develop strong pitches and propositions.
